## Type and colour

Prose is set in [Source Serif 4](https://github.com/adobe-fonts/source-serif), code and the wordmark in [IBM Plex Mono](https://github.com/IBM/plex), both self-hosted. Interface text uses your system's sans-serif. One accent colour, a green, on paper-coloured backgrounds; a dark theme with the same rules.

## Rules the design follows

No gradients, no glass, no glow. No scroll-triggered animation, no typing effect, no cursor followers. Motion is limited to short fades that respect `prefers-reduced-motion`. No cookies. What the site keeps about you, and who else handles it, is on [the privacy page](/privacy).

Writing, diagrams and images here are published under [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/): quote, copy and adapt them, with credit to Vignesh Kumar A and a link to the page. Anything quoted from elsewhere, such as PostgreSQL source, keeps its own licence. Code snippets in posts are yours to use; attribution is nice but not required.
